Furniture

Museum Lambert van Meerten has a large collection of furniture. Most of the furniture from the original collection of Lambert van Meerten was sold when he went bankrupt and went into private possession. Some pieces were bought by members of the association 'House of Lambert van Meerten' and were given to the museum.

Buffet
The old Dutch buffet in gothic style in the front room, on which pewter could be placed, belonged to the original collection of Van Meerten. So did the small cupboard dated 1550.

15th to 17th century
In the front room you can get a good idea of the development of furniture from chest to cupboard from the 15th to the 17th century. The chairs and tables in the museum represent styles of furniture from
the same periods.
